Let yourself be inspired by a cover & imagine what those still unwritten pages might contain, partaking in the costless literary competition for prose & poetry.
The covers germinated thanks to young users of mental health services & kids on the autism spectrum.
Thanks to the social cooperatives Altamarea & Arca – with the supervision of Lorenzo Scacchia & Francesco Marino (curator at Orto dei Semplici Elbano) – the kids who coauthored the covers took part in photographic trips to the garden. Following individual meetings with Scacchia, each of them chose a photograph & coined the corresponding title. Elements he then harmonised into a graphic dress in order to create the exhibited covers.
The prints are displayed in direct contact with the soil, in the area dedicated to wild Elban plants. Plants currently in aestivation, a form of adaptation to high temperatures.
