The image I chose reminds me of snow. This book is a story of hope, something beautiful that comes after a dark moment because snow gives the feeling of something beautiful. The white of the petals reminds of the void that can be filled with yellow that represents the sunlight.

I was surprised by the bush that hid beautiful colours and shapes of flowers and leaves, recalling the random beauty of nature. The title recalls precisely this randomness, the nothingness is the expectation that we have of the place where we are, where we often do not realise that it can hide beauty and we are therefore deceived.

I chose this photograph because there was a red flower and red is the most beautiful colour, especially for Lightning McQueen. So I imagined that Lightning passed by this road and left, as a souvenir, a sign of himself.
